Davallia solida var. pyxidata [Davalliaceae]; Rabbit’s Foot FernTry to only grow the NSW native variety. I believe a lot of solida that is sold is in fact the Fijian variety ‘Davallia solida var. feejeensis’.
Seems to do well in a garden, given the right conditions:
Semi-rupestral/epiphyitic substrate (e.g. a few rocks underground, or wedged between a couple of rocks or logs)
Watered to etablishment.
Semi shade or shade
